Jordan

During the hype about terrorist attacks for the rollover to Y2K, one of the few places where an actual plot was detected and eventually foiled was Jordan. Now the U.S. government has received information that the embassy in Amman is targeted for attack. According to the official warning, attacks on other targets “cannot be ruled out.” Under the circumstances it would be prudent to minimize contact with the embassy or other official U.S. facilities.
