Typhoon Nari blew through Taipei Sept. 19 causing severe flooding of the city’s busy subway system. About a third of the Mass Rapid Transit stations were flooded, forcing commuters onto the busy streets. Partial service has been restored, but full operations won’t be in place for at least three months.
