Sierra Leone

The U.S. Embassy in Freetown reopened Sept. 15 with a very limited staff, and travel to Sierra Leone, especially outside the capital city, is still considered risky because some rebel groups have not been disarmed and demobilized since the peace agreement was signed in July.
