Colombia

By Larry Habegger | Permalink | No Comments | December 19th, 2001 | Trackback

Colombia is one of the world’s most dangerous countries for travelers because of the high risk of kidnapping, rampant narcotics trafficking and an ongoing Marxist insurgency. Currently a third of the country is under a dusk-to-dawn curfew because of a rebel offensive that has reached the outskirts of Bogota in addition to 15 other towns. Avoid travel here.
