Mauritania

Mauritania: Demonstrations have been held daily in the capital city of Nouakchott to protest the Israeli siege of the Palestinian Authority. Several were broken up with tear gas. Mauritania is one of three Arab countries that have diplomatic relations with Israel, and protestors are demanding that these ties be severed. Further violence is possible.
