By Larry Habegger | Permalink |After several days of turmoil that saw rallies, strikes, clashes, the ouster of President Hugo Chavez in a coup and his reinstatement to office two days later, life in Caracas is beginning to return to normal. Sporadic unrest may continue and deferring travel here until conditions stabilize would be prudent. Popular sentiment is evenly divided on the president and his policies, and opposition unrest in the future is likely.
