The G8 Summit will be held June 26-27 in Kananaskis, a small town west of Calgary, Alberta. Last year’s summit in Genoa, Italy was marred by violent demonstrations and the death of one protester, but anti-globalization protests this year are likely to be tempered by the altered political climate since September.
