China
By Larry Habegger | Permalink |China’s annual flood season is one of the worst in memory, with some 100 million people affected by floods and more than 900 killed. The worst hit provinces are Hunan and Yunnan. The Yangtze River is threatening to flood and officials have ordered the strengthening of dikes and stockpiling of supplies.
