Unions representing everyone from teachers

Unions representing everyone from teachers to transportation workers to peasant workers to coca producers are protesting government inaction on several fronts. Travel in Bolivia could be disrupted in the coming weeks, especially to the Chapare region and Cochabamba. Coca growers may try to isolate Cochabamba by blocking the main roads from La Paz and Santa Cruz at the towns of Aguirre, Melga and Parotani.
