Citing increased security concerns, the U.S. State Department has authorized the departure of non-emergency personnel and family members from the embassies and consulates in Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This adds to last weekÂ’s list of countries in the Middle East where the State Department has authorized personnel to depart: Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
