All passengers arriving from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam are subject to quarantine inspection, which requires filling out a form and being questioned by health care personnel. Anyone suspected of SARS infection may be put into quarantine for up to 14 days. These regulations apply even if the passenger simply transited the listed countries. Passengers and crew who remain aboard the aircraft before departing for another destination are exempt.
