In a move to tighten security for its 1 million foreign nationals, Singapore will deploy more police reserves to protect commercial buildings and expatriate haunts. Places that are popular with the foreign community, such as Boat Quay, Mohamed Sultan Road and the Newton Hawker Centre, will receive additional police guards.
