The Bahamas is largely back in business following the damage suffered from Hurricane Frances. Grand Bahama island was the hardest hit, and some hotels are open while others expect to be operating by the end of September or October. Most major resorts in Nassau and Paradise have reopened, and others throughout the chain of 700 islands suffered minimal damage.
