Several airline strikes are planned for October and could disrupt travel. Pilots for Airone Airlines plan a 12-hour strike from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 11; Alitalia pilots intend to strike for 24 hours starting at midnight on Oct. 15 and again for 8 hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 25. Such strikes are often canceled before they occur, but if not, they usually create flight delays and cancellations.
