By Larry Habegger | Permalink |Stung by delays that were not caused by employee strikes, British Airways has decided to cut 966 flights out of London’s Heathrow Airport over the next few months to improve its performance. These amount to about 12 flights per day, or 2 percent of the carrier’s 41,000 flights. Both short- and long-haul flights will be dropped, but only on high-frequency routes.
