Australia
By Larry Habegger | Permalink |A “Loch Ness” eel has invaded a trout farm in Warburton, east of Melbourne, and is scaring the daylights out of unsuspecting fishermen. It is said to be at least 10 feet long and to have a head the size of a soccer ball. Trout farm operators have offered a roughly $800 reward to anyone who can catch it. The eel is believed to have been washed into the ponds during record-breaking storms.
