Marches and demonstrations to mark May Day will occur May 1 in many European cities. Events will include protests by international workers’ groups, concerts and other cultural festivities. Thousands of people usually crowd city centers for the celebrations and could disrupt traffic and public transit. Cities where events are planned include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Dublin, Hamburg, Helsinki, London, Marsaille, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Paris, Seville and Stockholm.
