Italy: Airline Strike

Alitalia flight attendants intend to strike Aug. 30-31, which could cause the cancellation of many flights. Similar strikes in recent weeks have forced dozens of flight cancellations. The airline and flight attendants’ union do not appear to be close to resolving their contract disputes, so the walkout is likely to happen.
