France: Transit and Airline Strike

A one-day strike against government economic policies will occur Oct. 4 and will disrupt transportation in many French cities. Paris Metro and bus workers intend to strike for the day and SNCF train workers will walk out from 8 p.m. Oct. 3 to 8 a.m. Oct. 5. Air France workers will also strike, causing disruption of flights on Oct. 4 and 5.
