Russia: Ongoing Terrorist Threat

The U.S. State Department has renewed its announcement citing a heightened potential for terrorist attacks in Russia and notes that this situation “is likely to continue for some time.” There is no specific information that Americans or U.S. institutions are targets, but past attacks have occurred at places where anyone could become a victim, including hotels, tourist sites, markets, on public transportation such as the subway, and on commercial air flights.
