Honduras: Kidnapped Hotelier Released

Four gunmen kidnapped an American hotelier Sept. 20 but released him a week later in Copan. The man, who has been living in Honduras for 15 years, was snatched outside his Gran Hotel Sula on the Atlantic Coast and did not know if a ransom had been paid. The incident was not isolated: more than 40 businessmen have been kidnapped in Honduras so far this year.
