Kuwait: Arrests Prompt Terrorism Warning

Kuwaiti authorities arrested members of an al-Qaeda-linked group that was planning bombings during Ramadan, which began Aug. 21, prompting the U.S. Embassy to warn U.S. citizens that terrorist threats against U.S. interests still exist. The Embassy urged Americans in Kuwait to remain especially vigilant and aware of their surroundings.
