Denmark: Crime Could Increase During Christmas Holidays

The U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen reminded U.S. citizens that street crime tends to spike during the holiday season and alerted visitors and expatriates to guard against pickpockets in larger cities and towns. Thieves become more active at this time of year because people tend to carry more cash and valuables than usual and are perhaps distracted by the goodwill of the season.
