Ireland: Aer Lingus Strike May Stop, Delay Flights

Ireland’s national carrier Aer Lingus announced that workers may strike, potentially causing flight delays and disruptions in travel leading up to the busy Christmas holiday season. Workers at the airline cited an inability to reach an agreement about staffing at Shannon Airport as a cause for the potential strike, but officials said that the Labor Relations Commission is helping Aer Lingus and the Impact trade union try to settle the dispute about who will serve as cabin crew at Shannon.
