Caribbean: Cricket World Cup

By Larry Habegger | Permalink | 1 comment | February 14th, 2007 | Trackback

The Cricket World Cup will be played March 5-April 28 on various Caribbean islands. Large numbers of fans from participating countries are likely to attend, putting a strain on basic services from hotel accommodations to transportation to medical assistance. Matches are scheduled in Antigua, Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago. Check the schedule of matches before planning travel or reconfirm accommodations. Americans returning to the U.S. by air now need a valid passport to do so. Cruise passengers remain exempt for another year.
