Nicaragua: Election Dispute Creates Unrest

By Larry Habegger | Permalink | No Comments | November 13th, 2008 | Trackback

Clashes occurred between supporters of the ruling Sandinista party and opposition partisans both before local elections held Nov. 9 and in subsequent days, including Nov. 10 and 11. Unrest could continue and travel around the country and in the capital, Managua, should be undertaken with caution until the situation is resolved.
